Artie Lange: 6 Months Off?

Published by LetItBleed at 6:19 pm under Sirius Satellite Radio Edit This

On today’s airing of the Howard Stern Show on Sirius Satellite Radio, Artie Lange made a shocking announcement that he would be leaving the show in January for six months.  Lange claimed that he is “burnt out” and needs some time off.  Howard went on to comment that while he would support Artie’s decision (whatever that may be), he hopes that Lange would consider staying with the show and attending regular therapy treatments.  Howard also claimed that he knows what it feels like to be warn out and stressed because he nearly committed suicide on two prior occasions.

This all came only a couple of hours after Stern and Lange had a major argument over what Howard’s intentions were in bringing a girl into the studio who claimed to be interested in Artie on account of a fetish for “fat guys.”  Artie claimed that Howard was trying to embarress him but Howard said that he was doing this as a “bro” to Artie.  Lange also went on to comment that the word “bro” is outdated and gay.
